Holiday Stocking Die Video 09/06/2011
Hi, Everyone, I can't wait to show you this tutorial. It's so darn cute! I just love this die. It's called the Holidy Stocking die from Stampin' Up! Just watch the video below so I can show you how I made this stocking. I got the shower gel through Avon here. They're only $1.49 right now on sale. They fit perfectly into this stocking and then there's even room for candy, too. I just wrapped my Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and Early Expresso 1/4" GG ribbon around my candy cane. I also used this stocking for the challenge over at The Hybrid Chick. The challenge was to use some twine on a project. I decided to use the twine in my 3d project and not on a card. Just shakin' it up a bit :) Refer below for video and some dimensions. Here's some pictures. Here's some measurements: For inside stocking: Cut your paper to 1 1/2 x 6 1/2 long and score at 1/4 inch on both sides along the long edge. Turn piece and score at 1 1/2 and 4 1/2 along shorter edge Cut your paper to 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 and score at 1/4 along the long edges Turn paper and score at 1/4 inch and 2 1/2 inches along the long edge Use sticky strip for the ruffle ribbon For bells cut a piece of baker's twine at 7 inches and tie on bells. Hi, We made this card at my open house last weekend. Using the Heat & Stick powder really makes your glitter stick to your projects. I use this with my scrapbooking, too. I know the glitter is stuck good and won't ruin my pictures. This video is just a little tutorial on how I used the Heat & Stick Powder to my flowers. If you received this kit because you placed an order, then you can just follow the picture to place your pieces on your project. Thanks again for your support during my open house party. I really appreciate it. Linda Emboss Resist 06/30/2011
This was one of the cards we made in our open house. It was so much fun. I loved having everyone over! I can't wait to do it again! I'll be embossing with white embossing powder a background stamp and then sponging on some color to make it pop! We'll also be stamping a design on the beautiful butterflies die cut using blushing bride and pear pizzazz markers. This is a beautiful card that can be used for birthdays, sympathy, thinking of you. It just goes with a lot of card themes Embossing and Inking Texturz Plates Video 06/16/2011

Linda Dotted Scallop Ribbon Square 03/21/2011
Hi, Everyone, I was taught this technique at the Stampin' Up! Convention in CT this weekend. It's so easy for such a big WOW! I just loved this. Cut your paper to 3x3 for the technique I tried for this card. I also tried to make a rectangle square using the same technique, but the scallop ribbon wasn't coming out right. Cut your paper to 3 x 3 and give it a try and let me know if it came out okay for you. Anyways, here's a little video on how I got the square using the dotted scallop ribbon punch. This video will show you how to use your letterpress plates with your Big Shot. A few other supplies to use with these plates would be your craft ink pads. Craft ink pads are thicker and will adhere to the plate better and longer for you to make your impressions. Faux Clouds and Stamp-a-ma-jig Videos 01/31/2011
Hi, In this video I'll be making this cute Valentine card, and we'll be learning the faux cloud technique along with how to use a stamp-a-ma-jib to create these little kids on the front of the card. Thanks so much. Linda Oval with Textured Background 10/31/2010
Hello, Everyone, I've been getting a lot of questions on how I created this technique with the oval and textured background so I thought I'd show you a video. The key is to have the right layering. It's dependent upon the thickness of your chipboard template, what tab you use on the Big Shot, and how many cutting plates you use. I think I've covered all the variabilities. You just have to try it different ways until you come up with the formula that works for your machine. I tried five different ways, so it does take a little patience. Thanks for all your questions and comments. I really appreciate it. Linda Click here to view the video or view below.
