Stamp With Linda Walsh

Here's a few clean and simples cards I made a while back.  I'm not really sure I like them, but I was trying something new.  As you know from previous posts, I always tend to have layer after layer.  Well, you can't learn if you don't try, right?  I think the birthday card will look even better once I tweak and play with it a bit more, but here's what I've done for now :)

Thanks for visiting me today!

Hello,
Everyone,
These cards are for my upcoming stamp-a-stack class.  We'll be making 5 of these cards and five of another style I'll be posting tomorrow.  My stamp-a-stack card classes tend to be quick and easy cards so you can get a few ready for your stash.

The stamp set I used is Nature Walk (121925).   We received this set as a freebie when I went to the regionals for Stampin' Up! in Connecticut last year.   I haven't used it much but plan on it.

I also used the Sincere Salutations set.  Sincere Salutations (115068) will sadly be leaving us come May 31st.  I've used this set over and over.  I hope they come out with another one just like it.  I'm really going to miss this one :(

Talk soon!

Hi, Everyone,

I have a quick post for you tonight.  It's 11:30 here in MA and I'm tired :).  This card will be one of our club projects this month.  If you haven't joined my club yet, there's still time.  Just click the links to the right to view how you can receive free product and these free projects.

The products used were the Gently Falling Clear Set (123804), Sincere Salutations Stamp Set, Spice Cake DSP (124003), and Spice Cake Fabric (124066).  I love this fabric, by the way.   The designer paper is just gorgeous, too.

You can also refer to my faux button video tutorial here to see how I made my designer paper buttons.  What an easy embellishment to add to your projects.

Thanks.
Linda

Hello, Everyone,

This is a bright and fun card if I do say so myself.  The color combo is Peach Parait, Pear Pizazz, and Concord Crush.   I just used my Color Coach cards and it gave me this beautiful combo.  If you don't have one of these, you must get one.  Take the guesswork away!

Thanks for visiting with me.

Hi, Everyone,

I thought this card was so cute.  It's a twist on the easel card.  We'll be making this in my club for February.

I get a lot of questions on how I do certain cards or projects, and also the question of why I don't write the details of how I did projects.   I do give details for a lot of my projects and also have video tutorials, too, under my video  tutorials, but most of these projects are for my club members in which I do a video and PDF tutorial that's only privy to them under the "Members Only Site."  You, too, can become a member by clicking here for more information.

I hope you will join my club so you, too, can create these beautiful projects.

Card Details:

Stamp Set:  Build A Blossom (121994) Clear

Punches:  Blossom Petals Punch (121808)
                 Ticket Corner Punch (119867)
                 1 3/4 x 7/8 Oval (119855)
                 Scallop Oval (119856)
                 Pinking Hearts Border (117649)

Paper:    Blushing Bride (119796)
               Pear Pizzazz (119795)
               Rich Razzleberry (115316)
               Patterns Brights DSP (117155)

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stampin'

Happy Holidays everyone.  Just thought I would share the card I made my husband.  Unfortunately for him he was born on Christmas day.  I found the word "birthmas" in the urban dictionary which is defined as "The birthday of a person that happens to coincide with December twenty-fifth, or Christmas day."  I used Sketch 260 from Splitcoast to create this card.

I also used two different stamp sets to make up the word "birthmas."  I used the Sincere Salutations set and colored in the "Birth" part of the stamp "Birthday Wishes," and for the Four the Holidays" set I colored in "mas" from the stamp that said "Merry Christmas."   That was done in Handsome Hunter.

Card Recipe:

Stamp Sets:  Fundamental Phrases (114968) for the word "Happy"
Sincere Salutations (115068) for the word "Birthmas"
Four the Holidays - Holiday Mini Catalog for the word "Birthmas"
Lovely as a Tree (115026) for the tree

Paper:  Handsome Hunter (105122)
             Real Red (102482)
             Certainly Celery (105125)
Accessories:  Stamp-a-ma-jig (101049)  Definitely needed this for lining up the "Birthmas" word.
