Hi, All,

This card is one of our club cards.  I've been waiting to try one of these.  I think it's just a different twist on your card using a pocket.

You'll need the square scallop die by SU and the Messages for Mom stamp set.

Thanks for visitng with me today!

Here's the inside of our card. I think I may put something in Rose Red here. I just haven't decided what yet.

Check under my Classes tab for new classes.
Here's one of the classes.  This class will be held on April 5th, 2010, from 10 to 12 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
We'll be making this two-page layout for this class.  If you love to color, then this class is for you.  The So Saffron pieces shown below are - yes, you guessed it -- stamped.  Doesn't it give the feel of that old-fashioned wallpaper?  The stamp set used is the "Messages for Mom" stamp set in the 2010 Occasions Mini.  I've stamped in the center of the second page "Thank you for always being there."  On the bottom left-hand corner of the first page I've stamped "Amazing, incredible one who does it all" and "You are wonderful in every way."

I'll show you how to apply ribbon to your layouts using the 1" Double-Stitched Rose Red ribbon, too.

In this class you'll be receiving:
2 12x12 pieces of Mellow Moss
2 12x12 pieces of So Saffron
2 12x12 pieces of Rose Red
6 Mellow Moss brads
22 inches of Rose Red Double-Stitched Ribbon
11 inches of Apricot Appeal 1/4 Grosgrain Ribbon

I'll cut the Rose Red pieces to make your scalloped borders.  You will stamp your background and color it.  You can either complete the layout exactly as shown cutting all pieces in class and applying pictures or if you don't have the pictures you want to use yet, then you can take home the extra supplies as stated above to use later.

We'll be doing this project in our club on Wednesday.  We'll be using patterns to create scroll designs using our paper piercer and mat pack.  I love this look.
