Stamp With Linda Walsh

Hi, Everyone,

Here's an idea for you.  I bought these paperclip bookmarks and hair pins one day and was waiting for a chance to do something with them.  Stampin' Up! has on their clearance rack the Fleurettes Accents & Elements.  All I did was hot glued them on to the bookmarks and hair pins.  Easy-peasy.

Then I used the Matchbox die to creat the boxes.

I made the inserts as follows.
Cut one piece 1 7/8 x 3 1/4 and score at the 2 1/2" mark and fold.  This piece will be the piece that inserts at a slope so you can see the items inside the box.

Cut one piece 1 7/8 x 2 1/2 of solid CS to match your box, and then cut one piece at 1 7/8 x 2 1/2 of designer paper and glue together.  This piece will be what the bobby pins and bookmarks are attached to.  Cut a piece of 3/4" x 1 7/8" of coordinating paper and use yoru sticky strip to adhere this piece to the above step.

This will just lay inside the box on top of the sloped piece you made in step one for easy retrieval.

And your'e done!

Hi, Everyone,

I thought this would be a great set to have for all those special occasions.  This is a lot of fun to make.  I used the Matchbox die for the box, but if you don't have that, then just make them and package them in a beautiful bag or with a gorgeous tag to match.

This is one of our projects this month for my monthly clubs.  Visit here to find out how you can join us, too.  Clubs are for long-distance members, too.

Here's my thank you version.  I also used the fun flowers die.  I've been eyeing this die for a while now.  I'm so happy I got it.

Thanks for visiting today.
Linda
