Hello, Everyone,
For this card I used My Digital Studio. Notice how big the tree is from the Lovely As A Tree Stamp set. I just made the stamp in MDS bigger and then printed it on Window Sheets. While the ink from the printer was we I then embossed it. Make sure you don't warp your Window Sheets with the heat from your heat gun.
Turn over your window sheet now (embossed side face down). Color your tree and grass with markers. These will remain wet, but it gives it that watercolor look because the Window Sheets doesn't adhere the ink like a marker did. Then I placed it down on to my card. It didn't matter that the tree was wet from marker as long as you don't go and slide it all over the card base. It will eventually dry :)
See below for supplies used.
Thanks for joining me today!

Hi, Everyone,
Sorry I've been missing so long. I've been so busy trying to get some projects made for an upcoming craft fair I'm doing. Here's a bunch of tile coasters I've been working on. There's more, too, that I've been working on but maybe I'll save those for another post. I don't want to bore you now, do I!
Thanks for visiting with me today. Here's some tile designs to look at.
These are my favorites by far. The stamp set I used is Elements of Style. I used pink on one set and purple on the other.
Okay. Lovely as a Tree is my husband's favorite. Of course, he doesn't do flowers, right?
The second set is from a retired set called Abundance of Hope (I think). I figured with Easter coming up that these might be of interest to someone.
This set uses two retired stamp sets. The background is Tres Chic, a retired set, and the butterflies are from the retired stamp set Beatiful Butterflies.

Hello, Everyone,
Here's one of March's club project. We'll be learning the thumping technique. Look below for a close-up of this technique. We'll also be starting our technique booklet. Each month I'll introduce a new technique for you to add to your notebook (see example below).

Hi,
Well, I'm still trying to do one Christmas card a week. This is for weeks 3 and 4, so now I'm just behind one so far for February. I'm using Sunday as my guide for when a card is due. I now need to do one for the 4th of February :)
These two cards are done using the sponging technique but just in a different orientation. Both cards use the Lovely as a Tree set, a retired Branch Out set (my all time favorite set so far), and the sentiment is from the Word Play and Four the Holidays stamp sets.
For the inks I sponged on Pool Party, Island Indigo, and Wisteria Wonder, all the new in colors. I used Post-its to mask off the edges of the scene and the moon in the scene. View the photos below for more detail.

Hi, Everyone,
I'm getting to use My Digital Studio more and more now. The more you use it, the more you find out how much it can do. I've started getting into the hybrid end of it. Hybrid card/scrapbooking is when you combine your digital elements along with traditional elements to create your project.
For this project I wanted my tree to be in the background and then use the actual stamp in the lower left corner. I then used my embellishments to create the rest. The smaller tree is done on watercolor paper with markers and the Aqua Painter. You won't believe how easy it is to acheive this watercolor look.
This is also another free project that my club members will be creating this month.
Thanks so much for visiting with me!

Hello, Everyone,
Here's my tutorial on the Direct-to-Paper technique using the Lovely as a Tree set.
For the inks I used the Baja Breeze, Bashful Blue, and Riding Hood Red. This is a great card to make for your holiday cards. They're so easy to make. Just do the assembly line method and you'll be whipping out 50 of these in no time. Here's a picture of them along with the video and PDF format.
Happy Stampin'

Hello, Everyone,
This will be one of our projects we'll be making in our class on August 5, 2010, and August 6, 2010. Local club members get to choose one 12x12 page layout for their free club project.
Local members can go to my classes page to sign up here. When I see this layout I think of nature, the woods, camping, waterfalls. Don't you?
If you'd like to purchase this premade two-page layout, you can do so at the bottom of this post or go to my "For Sale" tab.
The layout above is using the premade pages shown below with closeup views of embellishments. If you'd like to order this two-page layout, scroll down to place an order. You can even change the title of the pages if you want, too. Just let me know what title you'd like.
Thanks for visiting.
