Hello, Everyone,
It was so nice to sit in my craft room again.  I made a few cards that I can't wait to show you.

The first one is for Halloween.  I haven't made too many Halloween cards this year.  I think this is my second one for this year.

Visit below for the card components.  Thanks for visiting with me today!

Hi,

This is such a clean and simple card.  I was inspired by this card here.  I just changed a few things but kept it basically the same.  I just thought it was so cute and I needed a few halloween cards.

The colors used were certainly celery DSP, Peach Parfait, Rich Razzleberry.  I used the Large Tag punch but made my tags longer.   View photos below on how to do that.
I used the Extra Large Tag punch, but did you notice that the tags are longer than the actual tag when punched?  Here's how I did it.

Cut a piece of Peach Parfait 1 1/4 wide by whatever length you'd like it and insert it into your tag punch as shown.  By having one end sticking out, the punch won't cut it and it gives you a longer tag.  I hope that makes sense.  Take a look at the photo below for better explanation.
Thanks for joining me today.

Hi, Everyone,

Here's a medallion that I made which has been the new craze lately.  Cut your DSP 1 1/2 x 12 long.  Score at every 1/4 inch and then fold accordian style like a fan.

Staple your ends together on the wrong side (meaning the side that you don't want to see).

Cut a 1 3/4 circle out of matching paper.  Apply Tombow all over circle and press medallion on to the circle.

See below for pictures.

Hi, Everyone,

Isn't this treat container the cutest thing?  Click the tutorial download below on how to create these cuties.  Just take off the cover and fill with pencils, candy, and whatever else you can think of.

I seem to be in a curly mode, and what I mean by that is the strips of paper in black and soft suede were curled around a pen and stuck to the back of the sentiment.  I don't know what you'd call those little curlies, but the past few projects I've done have had them on it.

Thanks for visiting with me today!

Hi, Everyone,

Happy Halloween!

Have you ever been boo'd?  Well, our neighborhood does it  What you do is you start off with a little treat bucket and fill it with goodies for the kids.  Then you pick a home, leave the treats on their doorstep, run and hide  When they open the door there's a big surprise.  Then that family does the same and boo's their next neighbor.  The kids LOVE it!

Here's what I packed for the family I boo'd.  I put in the necklaces with a card from my post here  I also put in the pencil cases filled with Halloween pencils at my post here (video).  Then there was a few other treats in there, too.  Here's a picture.

Thanks for visiting.

Happy Stampin'

Hi, Everyone,

I made these halloween pencil cases that actually could be used for any holiday.   Just watch this easy video on how to make them and then decorate.   It's that simple.  Here's a photo of the dimensions used and then the video.

Click here if you can't view the video from your e-mail.

Enjoy making these.  They're a lot of fun.

Hi, Everyone,

I got these two designs for the cover of my cards from two different people off Splitcoast. I can't take credit for the front of my card. What I did add to it was the bottle cap necklaces that I did in a class with a few of the neighborhood kids.

I thought with the test tube filled with candy corn, the card and necklace would make a cute gift pack for someone.

I used the retired SU set Twick or Tweet. This is such a cute set for kids.

By the way, I used My Digital Studio to create this little collage.  Just think what you could do with your pictures and this digital program.  I'm lovin' it!

Thanks for visiting me.

I thought this was such a great project that I wanted to share it with everyone.  Sign up for my class on September 25, 2009, morning or night, and receive this project for free.  What a creative party favor for your Halloween party or cute treat bag for your child's Halloween party at school.  Email me to attend this class and let me know which session you'd like to attend.   See you then.  Visit my video and techniques page for directions.

I used Beate's weekend challenge to make this card.  I can only take so much of the fall colors that I've been posting lately.  I decided to go bright this time.  I did some punch art on my pumpkin.  I took the small oval and punched it three times and cut out the stem for my pumpkin.  I then put dimensionals under the pumpkin.

Card Recipe:

Stamps:  None
Punches:  Small Oval (107304)
Paper:  Retired SU Rainbow Sherbet DP, Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery and white

Thanks for stopping by.

This will be one of our projects for club night September 9, 2009.  This was fun to make -  a little piecy but fun.  I cut out a whole Top Note die in white as a guide.  Then I cut out a Top Note in three colors, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Yellow and Old Olive.  A way to save on paper would be to cut the three colors into thirds and place them on your Top Note die so as only to cut it once with the three colors (not a whole Top Note for each color).  Using the white Top Note as your guide, glue all three pieces on.   Outline the edge with black marker.
Then cut a Top Note out of translucent paper.  Stamp your image on the translucent paper.  Dry with heat gun (translucent paper will smudge if handled and not dry).  I used small brads from a local craft store to adhere the translucent Top Note over my Top Note with the three colors.  I did use adhesive where the Haunted House is so you won't see it.  If anyone knows of some good adhesive that won't show through the translucent paper,  please share.
I then tied Black and Old Olive ribbon around the bottom of the Top Note and tied a piece of Pumpkin Pie ribbon to that.  I used Old Olive photo corners and it's done.
If you'd like to order any of these products, email me or head on over to my Stampin' Up! site
