Stamp With Linda Walsh

Hi, Everyone,

I have a quick post for you tonight.  It's 11:30 here in MA and I'm tired :).  This card will be one of our club projects this month.  If you haven't joined my club yet, there's still time.  Just click the links to the right to view how you can receive free product and these free projects.

The products used were the Gently Falling Clear Set (123804), Sincere Salutations Stamp Set, Spice Cake DSP (124003), and Spice Cake Fabric (124066).  I love this fabric, by the way.   The designer paper is just gorgeous, too.

You can also refer to my faux button video tutorial here to see how I made my designer paper buttons.  What an easy embellishment to add to your projects.

Thanks.
Linda

Hi, Everyone,

This card is quite the busy one.  I love this paper.   The designs on both sides of the paper coordinate so well with one another.

I did this card for the Mojo Monday sketch.  Also used in this card is the Spice Cake Designer Fabric, too.  I used the Fun Flowers Die and cut from chipboard the flower (inside of card).  I then used the Fun Flower die to cut out my fabric.  Used my tombo glue to adhere the fabric on to the chipboard.  The circle in the center of the flower is done the same way with fabric.

I then cut out the center circle (on front of card) and adhered the fabric to that using the Tombo Glue.   The flower was just cut out with soft suede paper.  Doesn't that fabric match nicely with the paper, though?  When you feel the fabric it is so soft that it adds that extra embellishment.  And so easy to make.  Wow!

To create my faux brads, I just used my hole punch and glued them on to my card.  Then take your Crystal Effects and adhere it over the hole punched pieces and let it dry over night.  It dries looking like a brad.  How cool is that?

Thanks for visiting with me today!
Linda
