Stamp With Linda Walsh

Hello, Everyone,

I'm a guest designer over at the CSAYL site.  This is where you need to be if you'd like to get your Christmas cards done early.  This week's challenge is "Photo who?"  Make a card with a photo or a photo holder.  I chose to make one as a photo holder.  I've always wanted to make something like this and what a great way to display those holiday photos at Christmastime.  Plus I wanted to try out my 3-in-1 Photo Converter my sister got for me.  You just place slides or any size photo into this machine and it comes out as a file on your computer.  Awesome!  So easy, too.  So I used these old pictures with Santa that I had and was able to put them on my computer to reprint and make this project for CSAYL.

Click here to go over to the challenge.  Let me know if you submit any of your artwork.  I'd love to see it!

Hi, Everyone,

Well, I'm already late with my promise to get one Christmas card done a week.  This is for Week 2.  I'm going to have to step it up a notch but I haven't given up yet.

This card is for the Deconstructed Sketch No. 35 challenge.

I used the Merry Medley Chipboard pack from SU for the tag.  I'm going to try and use these more for my Christmas cards since I don't have enough of them to hold a class with.  All I did was glued on my cardstock and then cut around it.

Visit below for products used.  Thanks for visiting with me.
Linda

Hello, Everyone,

I've been meaning to post some of the craft fair goodies that I worked on for some of my fairs.  The last fair I did was for my daughter's school so I just made some little treats for them.  Here's a few of the items.

These cut little snowmen have peppermint patties in them.

Here's some Reindeer food. I can't believe I didn't have a reindeer stamp so I just printed a pic off line.

Now, these little guys have a Hershey bar inside. Aren't they the cutest? These were my most popular item. I've sold 50 so far this holiday season.
This wrapper comes from Laurie Furnell.  She made her snowmen with fabric hats and scarves, but once I saw how Kerry made hers with the fleece, I had to copy. Kerry is from Kerry's Paper Crafts.    She does amazing work.

These little guys have candles in them. How adorable the little mittens are, huh?

Hi, Everyone,

Here's our Christmas container we'll be doing in class in September.  We'll also be making a fall one with candles in it, too.  You'll be making a matching card for each container, too.  Take a peek below at one of the containers and matching cards we'll be making below.  I used two stamp sets to make this beautiful set.  They are Holiday Happiness (120792) and Contempo Christmas (120594).

Isn't this great for those holiday treats you give to your coworkers or teachers?

You can sign up for my class here.  I hope you can join us.
