Stamp With Linda Walsh

Hi, Everyone,

This card is quite the busy one.  I love this paper.   The designs on both sides of the paper coordinate so well with one another.

I did this card for the Mojo Monday sketch.  Also used in this card is the Spice Cake Designer Fabric, too.  I used the Fun Flowers Die and cut from chipboard the flower (inside of card).  I then used the Fun Flower die to cut out my fabric.  Used my tombo glue to adhere the fabric on to the chipboard.  The circle in the center of the flower is done the same way with fabric.

I then cut out the center circle (on front of card) and adhered the fabric to that using the Tombo Glue.   The flower was just cut out with soft suede paper.  Doesn't that fabric match nicely with the paper, though?  When you feel the fabric it is so soft that it adds that extra embellishment.  And so easy to make.  Wow!

To create my faux brads, I just used my hole punch and glued them on to my card.  Then take your Crystal Effects and adhere it over the hole punched pieces and let it dry over night.  It dries looking like a brad.  How cool is that?

Thanks for visiting with me today!

Hello, Everyone,

I've been wanting to try this out for years now, and finally have had a chance to do it.  I guess I was pushed a little, too :)  Since they asked me to do this class at the Chelmsford Community Education Center, it got me rolling :)

We'll be making these in my class, too.  I'll be posting my holiday classes soon.  You'll be able to choose between a holiday coaster set or the butterflies.  Although this set is retired, I've kept it all these years.  I just love it.

Hi, Everyone,

I've been thinking of a nice coffee or tea set to give to my coworkers for this holiday season, so I came across this set from Lauren Meader's site.  I decorated it in the Dunkin Donuts colors and thought I would also make one with the greens to match Starbuck's, too, for those Starbuck coffee lovers.  I'll post that one later on.

Wouldn't this be great with coffee-related treats, gift card, etc.?  I can't wait to fill them.

I used the daisies and colored them with Pumpkin Pie markers.  The stamp set is Morning Cup.  I just love this set.  I also used the new triple layer punch and squeezed the petals to create the pink flowers below.

I also used MDS to create this layout.  There's so many different things you can do with it.  I'll show you more soon regarding that, too!  I can't wait!

Thanks for visiting with me today!

Hi, Everyone,

I just loved making these pinwheels.  Here's another one for you.  I made about 20 of these with all different phrases using the Teeny Tiny Wishes set.   This was one of the cards I used for our team meeting swap.  You can refer to my video on how to create this cloud technique here.

To make the pinwheel part, just cut a square.  For the one on my card it was just a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 square.  You can use any size square for this.  It's just if it's smaller it will be harder to work with.    Find your center as shown in diagram.    Follow the arrows and cut up till you reach about a 1/4"  from your center (depending on the size of your pinwheel).  There's not an exact science.

Adhere adhesive to the center where the black dot is.  The red dots on the diagram indicate the corner that you want to bring up to the center and stick to the adhesive.  Apply more adhesive and bring up the next corner denoted by the red dot, and keep doing this four times in total to create pinwheel.  I then secured it with a brad.

Here's my other pinwheel I mad a few weeks back.

I hope these directions help.

Just click on the pictures below to view what My Digital Studio has to offer.  I haven't posted many projects using this, but I'm going to start.  I especially love when you can make a card or scrapbook page, print it, and then add embellishments on top of that printed project.   It gives it that extra aweness! (is there such a word?)

Hello, Everyone,

I love these.  I actually had cut these all out for my open house two years ago and didn't get to use them all.  I've finally got to put them together in a cute little package.

The container in the back on the left holds five cards and the container on the right holds ten cards.  They're just different sized containers, and since I put the bow on each card it took up a bit more room in the container.

I used the Vintage Vogue and Fundamental phrases stamp sets to create these cuties.  The paper is perfect plum and certainly celery.

HINT:
I don't know if you can see it or not, but in the lower photo I used a glue dot for the center of the flower and sprinkled glitter over the dot.  So simple to do.  Try it on your next project.

Hi, Everyone,

I just wanted to show you this little video on how I made the scalloped corners on this scrapbook page.  I must confess I don't own a square punch so I had to use the tag punch.  Watch the video to see how I did this!

Thanks for visiting with me!

Hi, Everyone,

I thought this would be a great set to have for all those special occasions.  This is a lot of fun to make.  I used the Matchbox die for the box, but if you don't have that, then just make them and package them in a beautiful bag or with a gorgeous tag to match.

This is one of our projects this month for my monthly clubs.  Visit here to find out how you can join us, too.  Clubs are for long-distance members, too.

Here's my thank you version.  I also used the fun flowers die.  I've been eyeing this die for a while now.  I'm so happy I got it.

Thanks for visiting today.

Hi,

Well, pinwheels have been the rage lately, so I thought I'd hop on board, too.  This card was made with the SAB DSP Ice Cream Parlor.  I did the faux clouds technique (refer to my video here) for the background.  Thse were so much fun to make.
