Stamp With Linda Walsh

Hi,
This was one of the first sets I got when the new catalog came out.  I thought it was the cutest Easter set!

Take a look at the two cards I made with this set.   Just a quick note on supplies used as I don't have my catalog with me, but I used the Everybunny set from the main catalog, the large oval punch, and the subtles paper pack.  I also used the color pencils to color them in along with the paper piecing pieces.

Hi, Everyone,

I made these dry erase boards, and the first one I wanted to show you was the butterfly one.  I used the thumping technique on the butterfly - just another way to use this technique, and it gives the butterfly a different look.  We'll be using this technique in March's class, so check out my "Classes" tab for more information.

The first dry erase board is using the Beautiful Butterflies set from SU.  This set has been retired forever, but I've just always loved it so I kept it.   I use it periodically.  I won't be getting rid of this one untill they get another one like it :)

View my other dry erase boards below.

This one below looks really cool with the matching stamp set.  You can get this paper and stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog by placing an order.  For every $50 you spend you can receive these for free.  The stamp set is called the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set and the paper is the Everyday Enchantment DSP.
This dry erase board uses the retired Pawsitively Prints DSP, and the current Bordering on Romance stamp set.

Hello, Everyone,

Here's one of March's club project.  We'll be learning the thumping technique.  Look below for a close-up of this technique.  We'll also be starting our technique booklet.  Each month I'll introduce a new technique for you to add to your notebook (see example below).

Hi, Everyone,

I just think these are the cutest things.  The kids love them.  Martha asked for a private workshop for she and her nieces.  We made a scrapbook page along with these little birthday cakes.   I'll show you the scrapbook page tomorrow.  These were so much fun to make.  I just followed the tutorial from Splitcoast.

I was able to use a lot of retired scraps for these little cuties:  Cottage Wall, Tea Party, Sweet Pea

I can't believe I forgot to light them for the picture =(

Hi, Everyone,

This is a new way to use your Framelits Dies.  Cut with the bigger framelit your shape and then use the smaller shape as a template and sponge on the inside.   Simple but striking technique.  Give it a try.

Hi, Everyone,
Here's a layout from the Mojo Monday Challenge, MOJO228.  I've been dying to use this set.  I think it's just so cute.  I'm thinking this would even be cute with hearts coming out of the truck with a Happy Valentine's to that special boy in your life.  How cute!

Hi,

Well, I'm still trying to do one Christmas card a week.  This is for weeks 3 and 4, so now I'm just behind one so far for February.  I'm using Sunday as my guide for when a card is due.  I now need to do one for the 4th of February :)

These two cards are done using the sponging technique but just in a different orientation.  Both cards use the Lovely as a Tree set, a retired Branch Out set (my all time favorite set so far), and the sentiment is from the Word Play and Four the Holidays stamp sets.

For the inks I sponged on Pool Party, Island Indigo, and Wisteria Wonder, all the new in colors.  I used Post-its to mask off the edges of the scene and the moon in the scene.  View the photos below for more detail.

Hi, Everyone,
This card is for the challenge over at Card Patterns, Sketch 151.  I used the Big Shot along with the Movers and Shapers to create the curly label in the lower    right-hand corner.  Then I used the Elementary Elegance Sale-A-Bration set along with white craft ink and white embossing powder on all my stamped images.  The "Happy Birthday" stamp is in Island Indigo.  The papers chosen for this card are Pool Party, Island Indigo and white.

This will be our February club project.  You can sign up here for class.
